The Story of Cengal Wood

INTRODUCTION
Cengal is a type of hard and solid wood originated in the rainforest of Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and southern Thailand. Cengal tree is from the family of 'Dipterocarpacease' which produces very valuable and durable cengal wood. Cengal wood is normally used for construction of bridges, bots and also pillars as it is hard and termites free. Cengal wood furnitures do not need to be finished. Cengal wood has its own natural protection layer which makes it very durable. This wood can also be used for carving.
